O

ne teacher, multiple students, limited time. This is atypical issue most of the educational units face. This is a recurring problem. Sames teaching is not taken in the same way by each and every student. Then how can you evaluate all of them on the same plane, at a later time?

1. Examples

More examples that too real time examples are the best bet. Learn by examples. Kids and adults easily remember the examples and not the concepts. If the example is a commonly occurring incident, that will be remembered for a long time.

2. Showing objects or experiments

Showing real objects related to the subject or doing an experiment will create a lot of curiosity for the people to ponder more. Remembering shapes goes a long way to ease out the job of the teacher.

3. Online audio-video content

Though there are a lot of debates on audio video online content, the elearning material are widely used across the globe. These resources are helpful when real objects are not available to people to access/experiment. Online content in regional languages are making great inroads.

4. Flip classes

When the students have gained the trick of self learning, these flip classes will be helpful. In flip classes, the tutor circulates the teaching material before the class, well in advance. Students have to do self study and during the class, ask doubts, do debates and discuss. The teacher will act as a facilitator during flip classes.

5. Teaching in mother tongue

All research results prove that the students learn better when taught in their mother tongue. Grasping is found to be very fast, mind blocks are nullified and interactions increase.
